Gametime Eats with DiGiorno

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser.

The big game is right around the corner and we all know that it's all about the food! The perfect way to enjoy a football game is a comfy couch and a gooey slice of pizza. I love a good delivery pizza as much as the next person but what I don't love is the price. Where can I get a hearty, delicious, fresh tasting pizza for a steal of a deal? Enter DiGiorno.

Ford and I headed to Wal-Mart to take advantage of the special $4.50 rollback price for DiGiorno Rising Crust Pizzas. We snagged a 3 meat pizza for my protein loving husband and a chicken and veggie pizza because it sounded so yummy!

Mom you're gonna let me have some, right?

Jon and I really enjoy having people over, especially during football season. As much as I love creating new recipes and dishes for our friends, when a big football game is on, pizza is the perfect thing to serve. Quick, easy, and you'd never know it wasn't delivery with DiGiorno (and I am not just copying the commercial, the pizza is just THAT good!). The last thing I want is to spend hours in the kitchen slaving over a homemade meal and treats and watch my husband and his friends shove it into their mouths in 2 seconds while their eyes stay glued to the TV. I can have a hearty meal ready in less than 30 minutes.

A frozen pizza tip- I always save the cardboard to cut the pizza on when it's done. Toss it after you cut and saves the mess!

Rising Crust is the perfect name for this pizza. I can't tell you how delicious the crust is! Super soft and not dry like you'd expect a pizza from the freezer!

The 3 meat variety did not disappoint. I hate opening up a meat pizza only to find a handful of pepperoni.

I love the flavor green bell pepper adds to a pizza!

Now to serve piping hot cheesy pizzas to hungry football fans can be tricky. I like to serve plates full of the different flavors and hand out paper towels or napkins because each piece seems to get inhaled in 2.5 seconds.

Paired with some yummy seasonal beers, you are set for the Big Game!

Leftovers are rare around here...ha!
February 2nd- game day- is right around the corner so be sure to head to Wal Mart to pickup DiGiorno pizzas for a whopping $4.50! Your game time party hosts will thank you!
